Public beta of pollXT 1.24 available

The first public beta of pollxt 1.24 is available for download.

PollXT 1.24 is a pure technology release, i.e. there's not a lot of new functionality, but the frontend was completely re-coded and is now fully  ajax-based for improved user experience. The backend contains a new (also ajax based) interface to create and maintain questions and options.

The basic ideas of pollXT 1.24 do not differ very much from those implemented in 1.30, however with 1.24 a smooth transition will be supported.
