P2D improvements in version 1.02.00
In the new version of P2Dpro some really exciting enhancements will be available soon.
Most obvious new feature is the "Donation" functionality, that allows you to sell your product not for a fixed price, but to ask the buyer for a donation. We also created a new control panel for the administrator, made text handling (for confirmation texts, emails, etc...) much more flexible, added a "agree to terms and conditions popup" and much more.
Administration enhancements
The new administration control panel makes it much easier to get all the information you need and to access the settings you're frequently accessing:
Additionally we added various options to make your payment process and downloads more flexible:
- Improved text handling: You're now able to use much more variables in all texts and you're also able to define blocks of text that will be e.g. on the confirmation page or in an email, depending on the purchased product.
- Terms & Conditions popup: You can now define globally or item specific if the buyer has to agree to the terms and conditions before he's redirected to paypal.
- Automatic download: Downloads may now be started automatically immediately after the payment succeeded instead of pressing the download button.
- Item-specific button: Define an individual button for each item.
You can get P2DXTpro now (and you'll already see some of the new features in action) and upgrade to the new version without additional cost as soon as it is available.
Donations
The biggest innovation in the new P2D version is the donations functionality. You're now able to define donation items including a minimum donation amount. The customer is of course free to donate more. With donations you have the same possibilities as with payments: Give access to certain joomla content and/or allow file download.
