1.) In this forum at least a minimum level of politeness and normal language is used, otherwise users will be locked and posts will be deleted
2.) If you expect an answer, please post a detailed description, what you did and what happened after that (including error messages, server logs, if available etc...) ideally also post a link to the site where the error occurs.
3.) If you start GuardXT for the first time a message tells you:

(..)you should be aware that GuardXT modifies critical system settings. That means before performing any action you should:
* have a backup
* Know what you do and how to revert
* have tested on a test installation

THIS WARNING IS NOT A JOKE!

i installed guard xt...

and there was some red sign about htaccess as i remember and i clicked CHECK IT... and then my page disapered...

now when i connect to it i get 403 forbidden error
Sorry! You are not authorized to view this page...

i can't even go to admin of joomla

i tryed to delete htaccess.txt in root didn't helped
i put every file on server to 755 permissions didn't help
i put 777 permissions to index.php in root and admin also didn't help

sooo what should i do now???
what is the problem ?''

Hi,

delete the .htaccess (not the htaccess.txt) file via FTP. Then your site should be up and running again.

helo...
the problem is that there is no such file on my server when i connect via ftp...

there is only htaccess.txt

ok the problem is solved...

my ftp program filezilla sucks... it didn't show me the .htaccess file...

i run an online ftp and there was the file, i deleted it and it works now...

but one question.. i deleted the file (made backup first) but do i need the file ????
