Hi, i installed your script in my joomla 1.5.9, so i run few wizards, for security. problem appeared when i set all my files to chmod 0644 i think, script show me 289 files that had "wrong" chmod settings, so i selected them all, and let script do jobs for me. after that i cannot acces my site, i get following error:

500 Error - Internal Server Error
This error was caused due to an unexpected difficulty in fulfilling the user request. The most likely cause of this error is a crashed or error'd CGI script or program. Please verify that the program is properly compiled and/or operational and carry out any necessary debugging.
If you are not responsible for this resource, please send a bug-report to the address listed below describing your problem. Please include in the report the date, time, your e-mail address, the website on which this error occured and what you were attempting to do when this error occured. Your compliance is appreciated.


i now only have ftp access to my site, i cant open joomla nor joomla administration. Pls help, my site is www.bosnomoja.com

Hi,

there's a known bug incl. solution with the "set for all" function. See this post..
Due to the bug all folder permissions are set to 644 instead of 755. To access your site again you have to set the permissions of your root folder and subfolders to 755 (via ftp).

my folders are at 755 permissions, so i believe that there are some files inside folders with wrong permissions

did you also create an .htaccess file using the wizard? If yes, please try to delete that via FTP.

i am desperate, i cant fix my site after using guardxt, my site is down for almost a month now.

i deleted .htaccess file, but still i have same problem. pls pls pls help. which files do i have to chmod right, where do you think is problem? i already 755 joomla folders that needs to be 755

Hi,
sorry, I thought that would be fixed, because I didn't get any response anymore.
Did you check that your root folder definitely has 755 permissions? If that doesn't help I assume I would probably need FTP access to your site (mail it here)
