pollXT version 2.00.06 available

The latest version of pollXT fixes various bugs and adds some features as well. Highlights of this version are:

Paid Content in P2Dpro

The pro edition of P2D has a new feature called "paid content". With "paid content" you can restrict access to content you created in Joomla to people who paid for it... It is as simple to set up and use (or even easier) as any other P2D item. Assuming you have already set up P2D to sell e.g. eBooks or other stuff to download, it's done within minutes:

Create a P2Ditem (or use an existing one) and activate "paid content" in the "paid content" slider of the item configuration.
Select one or more articles you want to get paid for
If not already done, set a price, tax, currency etc... for your P2D item
you're done, start selling...

You can define in some additional parameters what is displayed to users who did not yet pay for the article... This is explained in the second part of this article - to demonstrate the "paid content" feature we of course need some content to pay for...Please note that the content of this article is not necessarily useful and is mainly for demonstration purpose.

New P2D Version available

We just released version 1.00.13 of P2D. This new release of the free version of P2D adds a often requested feature: Configurable download buttons. You can now select your own button in the settings of P2D. Additionally we fixed some bugs and improved usability a bit (by adding select boxes for currency and locale).

New P2Dpro Version available

The new version of P2Dpro version was just released. It mainly fixes some problems when sending emails, adds configurable download buttons and improves upgrades from P2D to P2Dpro.

martinzone.biz and joomlaXT join forces

martinzone.biz and joomlaXT! joined forces to build a nicer and easier to use variant of pollXT, called ModernPolls. The technical core and functionality will not be touched too much, however administration will be much easier and the frontend will look much better. Highlight of ModernPolls will be the result plugins.

P2Dpro

The enhanced version of the popular "Pay to Download XT" (P2D) extension is now available. P2D allows you to easily integrate PayPal into your Joomla!-based Homepage, to offer your users paid downloads, e.g. you can get money for eBooks using P2D.

pollxt 2.00.03 available

the latest release of pollXT fixes tons of bigger and smaller bugs. A comprehensive list can be seen in the changelog.

PollXT 2.00 for Joomla 1.5 available

PollXT goes Joomla 1.5 native. The new version 2.00 of pollXT is a direct transition (including some bugfixes) of pollXT 1.24, however it was rewritten for Joomla 1.5, i.e. the legacy plugin does not have to be activated anymore

New release of GuardXT available

GuardXT 0.09.05 is available for download. Despite several bug fixes some new checks/functions were added or improved. Main improvement to previous versions is the implicit health check. During normal initialization or check runs your joomla core files will now be automatically checked for changes i.e. if your joomla core files were modified compared to the original version you will be notified and may (if the modification was intended) be confirmed.

pollXT 1.24.10 RC2

The latest version of pollXT 1.24 is release candidate 2. It's available for download ...

The changelog lists the latest changes in detail.It's mainly a bug fixing release, no major functionality was added.

Please note that this is probably the last pollXT release for Joomla 1.0x. All further development and maintenance will be for the 1.5 native version, which will be available in march/april 2009.
